Some of our friends have recently moved down to London and commented on how good the atmospshere is for young people, and that you can get pretty much any job you like.

We went to visit them just a week ago, and one of them has just finished an internship with some employment lawyers london and has been offered a permanent job with them.

His girfriend has just started working as a nurse, and they have realised how difficult it can be working shifts, and not getting to see each other, apart from on the weekends. She works very long hours on her ward, and tends to have to cover for people a lot of the time, which means her hours are extended – but at least she gets paid overtime.

We went to see both their places of work, and met some of their collegues on a night out – they have a great network of friends who live right across the city.

The whole weekend was a great experience and we would defintely think of moving down to London at some point in the future – but we did notice that you have to have a lot of money to make sure you could enjoy the city.

We visited all the tourist hot spots and made sure we had a lot of good food and drink whilst we were down there – we have already planned our next visit!
