Christo Dagorov and Zvi Yaniv collaborate on creating new Digital Windows
Christo Dagorov was born November 25th in Sophia Bulgaria.Presently Christo is a Swiss citizen. His website can be found at www.christodagorov.com.
Christo developed a unique artwork using sheets of steel. Light spreads over the sheet of steel over a gray, blue even surface with topography of unknown depth. As these topographic scratches catch and reflect the light then a whole armada of sails of lights and shadows are spun out from the ocean of steel. Christo succeeds to manipulate the steel foil and create a crisscross of dark and light islands of substance in the metallic void and in such a way giving to the steel sheet a new purpose that is manmade.
Christo and Zvi decided to combine their talents in creating a new type of Digital Windows. They added a third dimension to Christo’s two-dimensional representation of crisscross sections.
Here are two representative works, one entitled “Nautilus” and the other one entitled “Kaleidoscopic Iris”.
